Llegó al mercado latinoamericano la nueva excavadora de Link-Belt, el modelo 300X3E. El modelo ofrece bajo consumo de combustible, alta productividad, durabilidad y seguridad. El equipo está disponible en los once mercados latinoamericanos en donde Link-Belt actúa: Brasil, Argentina, Chile, Colômbia, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Perú, Ecuador, Paraguay, Puerto Rico y Venezuela.
El modelo reemplaza la 290X2, y presente mejoramientos. Un punto que destaca es su sistema hidráulico controlado electrónicamente por el sistema de Sumitomo, que trabaja combinado al sistema del motor Isuzu Tier 3 EPA para generar un nivel de consumo más económico.
El equipo puede operar en tres modos, lo que facilita atingir productividad mientras que se ahorra diésel. El modo SP es de prioridad para la velocidad para alta producción, el modo H es para servicios pesados, y el modo A es de potencia aplicada, lo que resulta en más ahorro de combustible, con 13 ajustes posibles de RPM del motor.
