El transporte de la vacuna del Covid-19 ha generado nuevas necesidades en el sector del transporte y la logística, por sus especiales requerimientos en cuanto al mantenimiento de la temperatura.
En este contexto, ya está disponible en España el contenedor refrigerado SuperFreezer desarrollado por Thermo King, capaz de conservar la vacuna a temperaturas extremadamente bajas, de hasta -70ºC.
La gama consta de un modelo de 10 pies y otro de 20 pies, que ofrecen un elevado rendimiento, lo que los convierte en la solución más adecuada para el transporte y almacenaje de productos farmacéuticos a temperaturas muy bajas.
Se puede utilizar tanto para el transporte marítimo, terrestre o ferroviario como para el almacenaje ultra-refrigerado en suelo. No obstante, si se utiliza para el transporte por carretera o por ferrocarril, es necesaria la instalación de un generador diésel.
Además, es una alternativa eco-sostenible y más económica que los envíos aéreos, ya que mantiene la temperatura adecuada durante toda la cadena logística.
